Rock and Roll

Well, hooray for two-week bundles of fun.

I just can't believe how much change has been packed into the last two weeks! Apartments, cars, work, boys, and toothbrushes, all in two weeks. (Yes, toothbrushes-- I've lost my toothbrush twice, which my family should get a kick out of since I used to forget my toothbrush almost every time we went on vacation.)  I'm a little bit in awe and very intrigued to figure out the next twist I'm going to get. Not that I'm asking for it right away mind you, but I guess I'm not as overwhelmed as I was at the beginning of the two weeks.  Anyone reading this probably knows I don't usually love change, unless it's a legitimate adventure with lots of potential for fun and diversion...

So, my adventure is becoming a 9-5, salaried, occasionally suit-wearing, business-ish woman. I officially have the job! I'm actually pretty excited to be getting some good business experience in a public health non-profit. After all, convincing people why they might want to care is at the center of both health promotion and advertising-- but advertising and the business world seem to do it with better results.  (Of course, that also has to do with the comparative budget they have, but let's not get into that.)

My adventure is spending an undetermined part of my future in Providence, figuring out where to hop to next, and figuring out what new things to get my hands into since a new city obviously isn't in the cards yet.

My adventure is "surviving" Hurricane Earl this weekend, who has not showed up yet but whose threat ruined my camping plans for the weekend. Boo, Earl.

My adventure is getting ready to have fun this fall with people I love coming back to play with me. :)

First, it was so fun to run into you last night :) Second, I'm really excited that you'll be sticking around for a bit. Third, I agree with Ginna and I need to know where the boys come into the equation :)
