Opinion Poll

This is an informal opinion poll-- please comment! :)

How do you discern balance in your life?

You would think that, of all people on the planet, we should know ourselves the best. So why is it that I often find that I can accurately describe/define how I'm feeling, but I have a hard time knowing why I'm feeling that way. (I know I'm not the only one here-- hooray for the whole human condition.) I mean, the same feeling can be elicited by a lot of different situations! For example, I usually feel nauseous when I know I need to stop doing something, because I know that getting out is probably going to be unpleasant and usually full of drama. But I also feel slightly nauseous when I need to jump into a situation with both feet, because (as we all know) I like to be in control. So what's a nauseous girl to do?

It's not easy being green.

1. i want to know what this is about : )
2. i think that's why people go to therapist's (like me) so we can help you figure out why you feel that way :) it's our job
3. I think it's probably a psychosomatic manifestation of your anxiety about stopping/starting things. People don't like change whether it's good or bad. The transition part is not fun either way because it's getting used to something new

Maybe that helps : ) love you!!
