Random Musings

1. I can handle cold and wind. But four foot banks of snow where no one has bothered to clear the sidewalks for weeks is a challenge, and so is the film of ice that appeared today as the rain froze over every exposed inch of sidewalk. On the upside...

- It's a nice exercise in balance. Sort of like yoga on ice.

- Longer walks mean longer thinking time!

- I have awesome boots and galoshes for my treacherous climbs.

2. I might have to shut myself away this weekend and pin down my thesis. If I do, my classes this semester will be very, very useful. If I don't, they'll still be useful but I won't be any closer to finishing my thesis.

3. I locked myself out of my apartment today, so I am killing time instead of working out. I think I'm nearing desperation and am going to just go home and see if my roommie is there-- since she's not answering her phone. On the upside, I'm ahead in my reading for my Intervention Design class!
